About the Workshop
This course is aimed at beginners with an interest in the geometric patterns they’ve seen in the Islamic world and beyond. Many people haven’t used a compass since their school days, if that’s you, you’re about to rediscover all the potential it holds!
During the workshop, we’ll be drawing a single unit of a repeating pattern to warm up and familiarise ourselves with our tools and the pattern. We’ll then draw it repeated four times, outline it in pen and then embellish it with colouring/watercolour pencils.
Once you have signed up, a PDF of the step-by-step process will be emailed to you along with confirmation details of the event and your attendance. This is a popular event and places run out fast. Be sure to book yours early!
