IKCA- Why Donate to our Cancer Charity this Ramadan?

Most of us have known somebody who has suffered from cancer. Sadly, it affects all of us at some point, whether it’s your friend, relative or yourself. One thing that can have a big impact on whether or not someone survives cancer is the healthcare they have available.

While having cancer is always a difficult experience, knowing you have access to the right treatments can make a big difference.

Sadly many people in poorer countries struggle to access the help they need to have a fair fight against cancer. Working with impoverished patients in Pakistan, IKCA wants to change that.

Give to IKCA this Ramadan and you will be helping some of the world’s most vulnerable cancer patients in Pakistan. Your money will be supporting their fight against this disease, by investing in hospitals and healthcare support in the country.

It’s easy to donate to our website, whether you’re looking to give Zakat, Sadaqah Jariyah or to leave a gift in your will. With Zakat one of the five pillars of Islam, Ramadan is a wonderful time to give money to those who need it most. During Ramadan in 2016, the Muslim community in the UK gave approximately £100m to charitable causes.
