Steps of Hope:  Bradford to Manchester

“I am Liam Perry and I will be walking to raise funds for Imran Khan Cancer Appeal along with IKCA supporters on the 6th September at 8:am from Bradford Town centre to Manchester City centre.

The reason for my walk and many more to come is to raise as much funds and awareness as possible for Imran Khan Cancer Appeal and all their amazing work that they do, to the fight against cancer. The total estimated time for this is 11 hours and 35 minutes and the total miles are 35 however; He will be aiming to do it in under the estimated time frame.

The fight against cancer is something I hold very dearly to my heart having lost 6 of my own family members to such a heart breaking struggle. I am impressed with the Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital Cancer care bringing hope to many people.

Shaukat Khanum Hospital provided free cancer treatment to 75% of our patients through donations and supporters. Last year, your support helped towards 14,532 admissions at Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital with many more being treated, which meant not only did you give hope of life to the cancer victims but also to their children, parents and families. It is people like you who make a real difference by setting an example which others may follow.

I also hope to do many future walks and raise awareness for my own campaign Rise to freedom UK ending poverty and homelessness once and for all. In November I will also be walking the entire British coastline start to finish at Liverpool’s Albert docks in which I will also be looking to raise funds for NHS throughout the entire campaign.

Anyone is welcome to join in and help me and the Imran Khan Cancer Appeal to raise awareness and I am looking forward to the day we start this walk Steps of Hope and would like to personally thank everyone from the bottom of my heart who donates and helps us to raise awareness and to all taking part in this event and other events to come in the future. Thank you.”
