“While volunteering at Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore, I met an adorable child named Nazir Ahmed. He could not understand Urdu but we still used to play together. One day, when I was about to leave, he asked his father in Pashto that he wanted me to stay. That was the most touching moment of my volunteer experience. A moment that will stay with me and warm my heart for a long time.”
“I believe that SKMCH is doing a remarkable job and is worthy of much appreciation. I only realized the importance of hand-hygiene during my volunteer work there. I am proud of how at SKMCH they pay attention to small details that sets them apart from other hospitals in the country, and makes it one of the best cancer care centres in the region.”
